Meeting Urgent Direct Hire Needs in a High-Stakes Environment

    By ConsultNet Team | Case Study | Comments are Closed | September 23, 2024 | 0

A prominent software technology organization operating in the healthcare sector faced challenges with its legacy server-based technology, hindering their growth potential. The need for a transition to cutting-edge cloud technology was critical, however, sourcing tech talent with the expertise needed proved to be a daunting task. The organization recognized that without migrating to the cloud, their business expansion would be severely constrained.

    CHALLENGE

When a multi-brand retailer approached us with an urgent need to fill several direct hire help desk positions within a week, we understood the high stakes involved. The IT department was critically understaffed, and immediate support was essential. Recognizing that success required more than just filling the roles, we leveraged our deep relationships and thorough understanding of both the client and the candidates.

    SOLUTION
      • Through a detailed discussion we uncovered the issues that had led to past failures and to clarify the specific needs for this urgent requirement.
      • It was revealed that previous candidates had fallen short due to a mismatch in technical skills or poor cultural fit. It was necessary for candidates to have the right technical expertise and personality to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
      • The vetting process was both comprehensive and efficient, beginning with initial screenings to evaluate technical competencies and cultural fit.
      • Candidates who met our criteria were then presented to the client for a streamlined, one-interview process, designed to save time while ensuring quality.
      • Throughout this period, we maintained close communication with the client, providing feedback after each interview and adjusting as needed.

    RESULTS

In the end, we presented several qualified candidates, and the client hired all but one of them immediately. Thanks to our deep understanding of the client’s needs and our ability to quickly identify and vet the right talent, we were able to fill all positions within a week. The client was thrilled with the outcome, and the new hires quickly became valuable members of the team.

Building Nearshore Teams to Close the IT Talent Gap

By Mike Peinado, Managing Director | Comments are Closed

Change is a constant in the tech industry. As businesses grow, adapt, and disrupt the IT landscape, embracing innovation is crucial to staying ahead. To remain relevant and ultimately outpace the competition, companies must be nimble and flexible with their IT projects and hiring strategies. While offshore teams have been a traditional solution for the talent shortage faced by U.S. companies, they often fall short due to high costs, cultural differences, and language barriers. However, a customized nearshore approach, particularly in Guadalajara and throughout Mexico, has proven to be an effective alternative.
