    A leading U.S. financial regulatory organization partnered with ConsultNet to enhance its Continuing Education (CE) Platform, one of the most heavily utilized systems in the financial services industry. With more than 750,000 active users, the platform is critical to ensuring professionals maintain their qualifications, complete required education, and sustain viable career paths. 

    A ConsultNet Product Owner has been central to expanding and modernizing this platform, introducing new micro applications, improving user experience, and launching an industry-first solution to connect experienced professionals with firms actively recruiting talent. His work demonstrates how disciplined program oversight, aligned with PMO best practices, drives delivery of large-scale, high-visibility initiatives.

      • Launched new Continuing Education Micro Application in a modernized environment, delivering a streamlined, intuitive user experience 
      • Designed and advanced a new digital marketplace connecting firms with qualified, exam-ready candidates 
      • Supported ongoing development of the Maintaining Qualifications Program (MQP) ensuring participants can retain industry credentials while outside the sector 
      • Enabled cross-team collaboration across product, engineering, and business stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of high-visibility, aligned projects 
    CHALLENGE 

    The organization faced a dual challenge: support the industry’s existing workforce in meeting CE requirements, while also helping firms more efficiently identify and hire qualified talent. Existing tools primarily served entry-level professionals and exam takers. Feedback from firms highlighted the need to connect with experienced, credentialed individuals. At the same time, the CE Platform itself required modernization to better serve hundreds of thousands of active users, with seamless workflows and a simplified digital experience. 

    SOLUTION

    ConsultNet’s Product Owner took the lead on multiple high-priority initiatives, providing the structure and visibility expected of PMO-backed projects: 

      • Developed a new application to connect firms with seasoned, exam-qualified professionals seeking to reenter the industry. 
      • Guided the rollout of the next-generation Continuing Education Micro Application in the new FinPro to DXT environment. 
      • Acted as subject-matter expert to ensure program improvements, troubleshoot issues, and align with stakeholders. 
      • Applied agile methodologies with tools like Jira, Aha!, Confluence, and Miro to track progress and ensure timely delivery of high-profile initiatives.
